Different things motivate different people at work. What motivates one person won’t necessarily motivate another. The most common things that motivate people are achievement, money, a good working atmosphere, physical environments, and recognition.
In pandemic many people work from home, here are some tips to motivate yourself for work,( from office or home.)
Get Inspired: Sometimes, all you need to get motivated to work is a little inspiration. Luckily, you’re not alone in this world. And even if you’re working from home—which, admittedly, can get lonely—you can look to others for inspiration. If you can’t find inspiration on LinkedIn, Twitter, etc., you can always just turn on the TV. or you can read inspirational books.
Regular workout: set a regular time for your work out, Exercise for at least 30 minutes 4-6 days a week. Regular exercise keeps you energetic, keeps you positive, and helps you to motivate.
Find Your Intrinsic Motivations: Finding work that truly satisfies us is not always easy. But making the effort to discover and develop more intrinsic motivations for going to work, such as personal fulfillment, meaning, and passion, will serve us far better than any external pressures or expectations can.
Stay positive: Make Your Internal Dialogue Pleasant and Compelling be your own cheerleader, not a dictator. Use positive words of possibility and encouragement.
Chunk it Down: this means breaking a large and often overwhelming task down into smaller, and more manageable steps.
Create a routine: By implementing regular tactics like time batching, a productivity system, or even listening to the right music regularly, you can get into motivated work mode a bit more easily.
Get organized: another way to get motivation is to start with a clean slate and a well-organized plan of action. Clean up your workspace and computer screen, create a new to-do list, and let the clarity this provides lead the way.
Get in the Right Mindset: Thinking happy thoughts, focusing on the bigger picture, listening to music, and rewarding yourself can all contribute to getting into the right mindset and, consequently, getting motivated to work.
Get a good night’s sleep: It’s hard to get motivated at work when you can barely keep your eyes open. Good sleep is essential for focus, so be sure that you’re getting six to eight hours of rest per night.
